It’s Time to Clean House
When it comes to our Constitutional rights they are being eroded every day. Our rights are God-given and too many lawmakers and executives have forgotten that the Constitution does not grant you rights but exists to limit the powers of the state.
Free Speech is the bedrock of our Democracy. The courts and those in power have shown several times that they believe freedom of speech is not a right but a suggestion. Many politicians just sit back and allow it to happen. It is the duty of the house to be a check on the federal government and impeach officials who violate your rights.
Congress has the power of the budget. This means that all federal spending is decided by Congress. Those tax dollars don’t just appear from thin air. Each dollar comes from the pocket of hardworking American Citizens. Therefore its the Duty of Congress to be a good steward of America’s money and spend it wisely.
